Delicious salads for summer

Summer is just around the corner, and beautiful salads are inevitable. They can be made in countless variations, and you can add exactly the vegetables and fruits that appeal to your taste buds. There is no doubt that the flavors in a salad also change, depending on which dressing you choose to add. But I'm actually not a fan of dressing, and that's why I always just top my salads with herbs and a little olive oil. It also gives a fresh and light feeling, which I enjoy in a salad. It must not be too heavy. Pesto is quite delicious, though, so I can easily add that too.
When it comes to autumn, I really like adding baked root vegetables to my salads, but that's a whole other story. Now it's sunny and summer, and I've found a pretty great combination of ingredients that make the perfect summer salad (to my taste). You can mix it however you want, but if you add peaches, blueberries, asparagus, tomatoes, carrots, dill and parsley, something magical happens. I'm not a big fan of cheese, but I actually like topping the salad with a little freshly grated parmesan, along with the olive oil.
Try it - it's so delicious!
