Baked apple dessert
This beautiful summer dessert with baked apples offers a seductive combination of sweetness and tartness, where the apples are slowly baked with a touch of cinnamon and brown sugar until they are golden and tender. Served warm with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream, it will be a tasty end to a summer dinner in good company.

RECIPE (4 people)
Peel and halve 2 large apples. Make thin slices in the apples without cutting them all the way through. Place the apples on a baking sheet. Mix 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon cane sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon together and spread it over the apples. Cover with tin foil and bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees.
Mix 1 tablespoon of oil, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and a little hazelnut flakes together.
Take the apples out and pour the mixture over them - now let them bake for another 20 minutes in the oven, this time without foil. If necessary, give them the grill function for 2 minutes before taking them out, so that the top becomes crispy.
Let the apples cool slightly and serve them with creamy vanilla ice cream.
